Starting with iOS 14.5, all apps are required to ask your permission before tracking you or your iPhone across apps or websites owned by other companies to target advertising to you or share your information with data brokers. After you grant or deny permission to an app, you can change permission later. You can also stop all apps from requesting permission.

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office officially published a series of 70 newly granted patents for Apple Inc. today. In this particular report, we cover another AssistiveTouch patent and a MacBook Pro design-related patent.

Apple was also granted a series of continuation patents today with each adding new patent claims. Some of the higher-profile continuation patents cover AirPods & cases (01 & 02); Magnetic systems used in Apple Watch, MacBook, and more; and Wireless charging with foreign object detection using machine learning; the Beats “Pill” wireless audio system now under Apple.

Music industry veterans have been waiting for years for Apple AAPL -2.6% to release its version of a high-fidelity music service to no avail.
